XWA Classic Cup What is the XWA Classic Cup? Basically it's a repeating, monthly ladder in which any and all XWA wrestlers can participate. What is the point of the XWA Classic Cup? 1) To facilitate the entire XWA roster to play in some type of competition at all times. Not every wrestler will be used every week on XWA shows, therefore, we must make sure that all wrestlers have something to improve their playing abilities and garner the interest of XWA Staff for contract and draft purposes. (Explained later) 2) This will reward those in the XWA who love to play the game and who are good at the game at the same time. How does the Classic Cup work? 1) Each wrestler will contend in matches on Xbox Live using the IRC and their created CAW. 2) After match is finished, both players will fill out Match Report forms on the XWA Web-site. 3) The XWA Staff will take those match forms and manually input them into the XWA Classic Cup statistics page. 4) The steps above will be repeated until the last day of each month. 5) On that final day, after compiling statistics, the XWA staff will determine the new XWA Classic Champion. What factors determine whom the XWA Classic Champion will be? We're looking for several things: 1) Win Ratio 2) Most Wins 3) Most matches 4) RPP a) We'll start from the top. We'll take the top 20 wrestlers with best Win – Ratios. b) Next we'll take the top 10 out of the Win-Ratio list. c) Then we'll determine the champion out of that 10, by looking at who played the most matches. If there is a tie, the wrestler with the most Role-playing points gained that month will be crowned the new XWA Classic Champion.
